More Information
You can't
get enough of the noble richness of coloursThe
outer appearance of the Red Cumaru Prime French wood terrace leaves a calm impression. On the coffee-brown surface there is a rather discreet wood grain, which has aesthetic features. A smooth and grooved visible side is reflected in equal intervals on the planks. The grain is mostly closely interlocked and is stylishly accompanied by a reddish-brown splash of colour. Isolated glossy stripes complete the enchanting look. In terms of strength, the wood species demonstrates enormous ability. By nature, the Red Cumaru tree species is considered to be very hard and resistant. Thanks to its excellent resistance to wood-discolouring and wood-destroying fungi and insects, the raw material is ideally suited for outdoor use. The following performance characteristics are a clear indication of the potential of this decking
  • Basically free of insect holes (pinholes) and knots, only now and then isolated pin knots can be seen on the surface
  • In a special manufacturing process, the beams are dried to a wood moisture content of approx. 16 % to 18 %
  • After treatment with decking oil and end edge wax, the boards are optimally protected against weather and moisture damage
  • High resistance to insects, fungi and pests
  • The durability class I - very durable according to DIN 350-2, therefore a life span of the wood of at least 25 years is possible
It is
not
only in the woodworking industry that word has spread that Red Cumaru is an extremely hard wood. Consumers can expect it to last up to 25 years. With increased protection and care measures, even a significant extension of the original life span is feasible. So there is nothing to stop you filling your wooden terrace with heavy garden furniture and bulky objects. Even a modern outdoor kitchen can be accommodated in the open-air living room. The elegant woods will neither warp nor sag. Rather, the trendsetters present themselves in excellent shape.
Impresses with enormous versatilityThe
floor concept comes across very sympathetically and is ideally suited to barefoot walking. In oppressive heat, the terrace flooring does heat up, but everything is still within tolerable limits. Red marks or unsightly stripes definitely do not remain on the soles of your feet. You can even stand on one spot with both feet for a longer period of time. Moreover, the tread has a first-class slip resistance. Therefore, users will not slip easily in wet conditions. Basically, the tropical wood is considered extremely robust, easy to clean and also convinces with a perfect climate balance.
