This permanently elastic flooring is manufactured without plasticizers, chlorine or solvents. Instead, the polyurethane flooring is made from natural raw materials. These are vegetable oils, such as castor and rapeseed oil, and naturally occurring mineral fillers, such as chalk. Here, the vegetable oils replace the crude oil and plasticizers that would otherwise be used. This polyurethane made of natural materials was developed by Windmöller itself and bears the name ecuran. The health safety of the floor covering is documented by the Blue Angel, the French A+ seal, the Finnish M1 seal, the Greenguard certification and the Austrian eco-label.

No additional polishing or care is required for this floor covering. The closed PU surface makes the floor particularly easy to clean. Commercially available cleaners can be used for this purpose without any problems. You can also safely use all surface disinfectants for this floor. Several tests have shown that this floor covering can be disinfected effectively. The contrast agents commonly used in hospitals do not cause discoloration of the floor when they come into contact with it.

This is how the tiles of this floor are constructed

Each of the tiles consists of three layers pressed together. The top layer is the transparent PU top layer with the underlying decorative film and a stabilisation of ecuran. The following base layer consists entirely of the ecuran high-performance composite material. The third layer is a counter layer. The Fleece TEC system is integrated in this layer, which makes installation easier and more comfortable.
