Like broken clay that strikingly enriches the floor surface, the new cork floor Cork Go Gloomy from the brand manufacturer WICANDERS® lays on the floor of the home interior. The word "gloomy" should by no means be misunderstood and the flooring is neither gloomy nor depressing. The heaviness of the expression is rather to be owed to the density of the optically comparable material loam, which is however material-technically completely different. The eye is thus offered a bargain and the novel design triggers a completely different sensation after the first touch.

The XTRAMATT surface finish of the new cork flooring by WICANDERS® seals the visible surface optimally. A WPS wear layer, which also serves to protect the floor, also ensures that this floor covering is easy to care for. This is made up of individual tiles approximately thirty centimetres wide, which are less than one metre long. The floor tiles were equipped with a CORKLOC® - Click connection to ensure the child's play of laying the multi-layer construction. With a profile height of just 10.5 millimetres, the new flooring innovation achieves a service class of 23 and guarantees 10 years of use in living areas. This longevity, which can only be taken as a guideline, is based on several cork layers. In combination with an extremely stable HDF core layer, these guarantee high utility values. The heat-insulating and elastic properties of the raw material cork rather offer an impact sound insulated living quality, which can also be laid over an underfloor heating system.

With a Greenguard award, the flooring offers its owners the opportunity to equip their living space with an environmentally friendly quality of emission class A+. Recommended by the Institut für Bauen und Umwelt e.V. (Institute for Building and the Environment) and the German Cork Association, the cork flooring is also low in harmful substances.
