The fact that rustic is not a unique selling point of the older generation nowadays is once again proven by the brand manufacturer TARKETT® with the present design floor RIVIERA OAK WARM BROWN. Here, the face of a reworked wood structure is shown, which has matured into a new trend under the influence of weathering, soot and dust components that have sunk in, as well as other aging characteristics. The signs of aging that have been deeply etched into the wood have thus by no means been painted over, but present themselves washed out and unique in a completely new way. This shows neither signs of vintage nor of a used look and can thus at best be compared with retro style.

The fact that the rustic appearance is by no means reflected in the design and structure is the essence of the aforementioned style. The iD CLICK ULTIMATE 55 series by TARKETT® even goes one step further and has raised the term stability to a new level. With a guaranteed durability of 10 years in commercial applications, this fact speaks volumes. By using exclusively phthalate-free, low-pollutant as well as low-emission materials, an environmental thought is rather revealed, which ends in a fully recyclable floor covering. The CRADLE TO CRADLE initiative of the flooring manufacturer is thus bearing its first fruits and the present flooring can be classified as extremely environmentally friendly. In this sense, the design floor has been awarded a Blue Angel.

Independent of these environmentally friendly concerns, the material-technical quality of the multi-layer construction is evident. Here, great attention was paid to the wear resistance and resilience of the surface as well as the stability of each individual 1-strip plank. In particular, the ULTIMATE PUR surface technology and the RIGID COMPOSITE CORE core should be mentioned here. These two layers alone ensure optimum resistance to water, high temperatures and pressure loads. The flooring can therefore be placed over underfloor heating and is suitable for use in wet rooms. With its appearance varying between grey-brown and pale brown, the new flooring creation RIVIERA OAK WARM BROWN PLANKE by TARKETT® is particularly effective on the surface. However, the contrast between the light and dark colour sections is limited to the individual plank, so that the floor ultimately resembles a patchwork of two colours. This is without hesitation a highlight in any room and can be used in a loft, at the bar or in a lobby.
