The
Douglas fir substructure is available in 3 m, 4 m or 5 m lengths. It would be possible to lay the beams directly on the ground. However, it is recommended to spread a so-called weed fleece on the ground to avoid unwanted plant growth under the terrace. In order for the profile to perform exemplary work for a long time, the manufacturer has given the product a high-quality surface finish. Thanks to the special film, the Douglas fir feels smooth all around and retains its natural appearance even in the long term. The cross-section clearly shows the wood grain.
