A dull appearance is not everyone's cup of tea. The fashion for giving a new home to just abandoned industrial or commercial sites has given rise to furnishing styles such as this one. This is a country house floorboard made of vinyl, which has been given the name OAK SKYLINE WHITE by the brand manufacturer PARADOR®. The closeness to the construction wood puts this design in the centre of a loft apartment, which follows the urban industrial style, the shabby chic or the used look and other striking features. Tending to look like a wood surface that has been cleaned of dust, the surface at hand. This provides a wonderful contrast to the high gloss.

The plank, which is just over a metre long, is laid as a floating floor and is relatively easy to fit together with an integrated COMFORT CLICK connection. The necessary dimensional stability of the just 4.5 millimetre thick construction is provided by a centrally placed SPC core board. Since the floor covering also has an acoustic counter-traction, this significantly reduces impact sound. In addition, the vinyl flooring can be placed over underfloor heating and in damp areas. Skyline means city life. It is therefore obvious that the new design creation from PARADOR® would like to express the same. As already mentioned elsewhere, only the urban style comes into question. This fashion consciousness, which emerges through light or heavy wear and tear, is by no means to be considered rustic. Due to the slightly dusty surface a matt to dull appearing expression comes to the fore. Ideally, matt structures have an effect especially when very glossy or smooth accents are set. While a mirror can be sandblasted for this purpose, contrasting furniture or still lifes achieve similar effects in furnishings. A glossy black leather couch or a sideboard in high gloss are the best examples of this.
