The generous format of the plank in combination with the all-round joints creates the impression of a floor made of wooden planks. This is further enhanced by the special surface embossing. The natural matt embossing also brings out the grain and structure of the oak wood haptically. This laminate is therefore almost indistinguishable from real wood flooring. At the same time, however, you benefit from the favourable properties of a high-quality laminate floor - the floor is robust, easy to care for and simple to install. The glueless installation also means that the flooring can be removed at any time without damaging the subfloor. This makes it ideal for use in rented rooms or at trade fairs and exhibitions.

Here's what you should bear in mind before and during installation of this laminate flooring

Laminate is largely made up of wood fibres, which react to humidity and temperature. Therefore, the laminate must have at least 48 hours to acclimatise in the room before installation. To do this, lay the unopened packages with the laminate flat on the floor of the room. The room temperature should be between 17 °C and 24 °C and the relative humidity between 35 % and 60 %. The subfloor must be clean, dry, firm and level before the laminate can be laid. If you want to lay the laminate on a mineral subfloor - for example stone, cement or screed - you will need a vapour barrier. This is also required for installation over underfloor heating. It consists of a 2 mm thick PE film and protects the laminate from moisture from below. When installing a floating laminate floor, you should always use an impact sound insulation. At Parador you will find various models of these acoustic insulation mats, some with an integrated vapour barrier. As laminate flooring is a natural material that reacts to fluctuations in humidity by expanding or shrinking, you must provide expansion joints when installing it. These expansion joints should correspond to the thickness of the laminate, i.e. 8 mm in the case of this laminate. Expansion joints must be created to all walls and fixed objects such as heating pipes, but also to heavy objects such as kitchen units. You cover these joints later with skirting boards or floor profiles.
