The 2-strip ship's floor design and the very decorative structure of the Merbau wood set interesting accents, so that this floor appears calm but not boring. Both visually and haptically, this laminate is almost indistinguishable from a solid wood floor. At the same time, this floor covering is very resilient and easy to clean. This Parador laminate flooring is installed as a floating floor with the help of the Safe-Lock Pro connection system, i.e. without the use of glue. A do-it-yourselfer can do this quickly and easily by himself. What's more, you can remove this floor covering just as easily without leaving any residue.

This is how this Parador laminate flooring is constructed

The heart of the laminate plank is the HDF core board. It consists of highly compressed wood fibres and has a very high level of swelling protection thanks to the Aqua-Proof process and edge impregnation on all four sides. This reduces fluctuations in the room climate and extraordinary loads. This leads to a very high dimensional stability of the plank. The click mechanism of the Safe-Lock Pro connection system is located on this core board. Underneath the core board, i.e. on the back of the plank, there is an impregnated backing paper. It protects the laminate from moisture from below and compensates for tension to prevent the plank from warping. On the surface of the HDF core board lies the decorative paper, which is printed with solvent-free inks. It is covered by a melamine layer with a high corundum content. This very hard melamine resin protects the floorboard from moisture, abrasion, falling objects and micro-scratches.

The Blue Angel certifies that this Parador laminate is low-emission. The French counterpart "Émissions dans l'air interieur" assesses the quality of the indoor air. Here the laminate is classified in class A. The "LGA-schadstoffgeprüft" seal identifies this laminate as tested for harmful substances and low in emissions. It not only meets the criteria for the award of the seal, but also falls below the permitted values. Of course, this Parador laminate flooring also has both the "CE" and "Ü" seals of the Eco-Institut, which are obligatory for floor coverings. The CE seal certifies product safety, the Ü mark certifies that it is harmless to health.
