The Parador Engineered Wood Flooring Eco Balance Living Beech 3-plank ship's floor - a beautiful, robust flooringThered-brown, warm shade of beech brings cosiness into every room. Beech wood appears elegant due to its fine grain. But the wood is also firm and hard. This results in a parquet that is very resistant and does not resent almost anything. A manufacturer's warranty of 25 years speaks for the longevity of the product. Beech is the most common deciduous tree in Europe. In Germany alone, 20 % of the forest area consists of beech trees.Important properties of Parador Engineered Wood Flooring Eco Balance Living Beech 3-plank strip
How is this parquet constructed? This Parador engineered wood is made up of three layers: the top layer, the middle layer and the backing veneer. The top layer consists of 2.5 mm solid beech wood. It sits on the middle layer of fir and spruce sticks. Wood absorbs or releases moisture - depending on the humidity of the environment. The wood expands or contracts in the process. Since the fir and spruce rods of the central layer are aligned transversely to the grain direction of the beech top layer, they can compensate for a large part of these expansion movements. This prevents cracks in the parquet and bulges in the floor. Under the middle layer there is still the backing veneer of a coniferous wood. It ensures greater dimensional stability of the parquet floorboards. What do the terms surface structures mean? This parquet is offered with five different surface structures.
With "wavescraped", on the other hand, the work of the waves is simulated on sand. The result is irregular, shallow depressions in the parquet flooring, which you can not only see but also feel. The "brushed" structure is created by treating the surface with stainless steel brushes. This highlights the grain of the wood. This is both visible and tangible. With the "Elephant Skin" structure, cracks, knots and grains of the wood are highlighted by the processing. The result is an almost historical looking parquet floor. The "sawing structure" is also reminiscent of earlier times, when the floor boards were still sawn to size by hand. The saw marks running across the wood grain give the parquet a distinctly archaic appearance. | |
