The combination of the materials used with the special structure of the tile results in a particularly quiet, easy-care and hard-wearing floor covering. The transparent 0.55 mm thick wear layer, which consists of several layers, has an excimer coating that makes the surface antibacterial, waterproof and uniformly matt. Underneath is the decorative layer, which is responsible for the authentic look of the flooring. The core of each tile is the waterproof rigid polymer backing board. Under it is the, made of 1 mm XPS foam integrated sound insulation. These two elements make the tile a relatively heavy element that dampens vibrations.

The tiles of this design floor are laid floating using the Multiclick system. This does not require any adhesive, which makes the installation very clean. The individual tiles are only connected to each other, not to the subfloor. Nevertheless, a secure, resilient connection is created. To do this, you do not need to saw the tiles to size, but only cut them if necessary. Therefore, laying this flooring is very simple and can be done quickly even by laymen themselves. You can lay an area of up to 15 m x 15 m continuously. No expansion joints or transition rails are required in the door area either. You can also install this Meister design floor over underfloor heating without any problems. Many old floor coverings are also suitable as a substrate for installation, even old tiled floors. Minor unevenness of the subfloor is compensated by the rigid core of the flooring and the floating installation.
