Those who like it emphatically striking will feel completely at home with the new design floor from MEISTER®. The inimitably expressive floor covering defines the term rustic in a whole new way. The sheer expressiveness of the sand-yellow appearing background is interrupted by brute crack inlays, knots as well as darker colour sections over the entire surface. This offers Oak Lakeside a washed-out line in a direction that seems to be partially lost in space. Viewed from a height, the present MeisterDesign appears all the more interesting and is in part incomparable.

While there is no real naturalistic style epoch in architecture, some 20th century trends can certainly be compared to it. These include, for example, regionalism and resource-saving ecological building. The first of these is lived out above all through special materials, designers and design language, whereas the latter comes to the fore in the case of this flooring in particular through the use of PEFC-certified wood. The new design floor from MEISTER® has also been awarded the Blue Angel eco-label, which again underlines previous ideas. The construction of the 1-strip country house or short plank, which is just over one metre long, can thus be rated as effective as it is environmentally friendly. The profile consists of a total of four layers, each with a different function. The final layer is a cork underlay mat, which effectively dampens every step as impact sound insulation. A further cork comfort layer also reduces noise and is also mainly responsible for the joint-protecting properties of the floor covering.

Between these two mats in the middle layer is a special AquaSafe® board, which is edge-impregnated and swell-reducing, making it suitable for use in damp areas. Finally, the authentic wood structure is completed with a multi-layer Puretec® Plus surface, which is also designed to be non-slip thanks to the semi-elastic protective film. The strength of the wood is reflected in the new design floor from the brand manufacturer MEISTER® just as much as the extravagance of the rustic appearance. While the pattern thus has a brute effect on the living room atmosphere, the colouring can be kept strikingly open. Mineral textures or roughcast will accordingly contrast well with the wood texture at hand, though smooth walls would be more appropriate. To much is certainly not in the spirit of well-balanced living room interiors and so advantage should be given to plain concrete looks, plain wallpaper or plaster finishes.
