These very individual country house planks are characterised by a lively wood structure. It is caused by the astane parts and the black putty cracks, among other things. This is the most rustic grade of HARO Parquet 4000, which is as robust as it looks. The surface can be sanded several times if necessary. Due to the large dimensions of the planks, installation is quick and easy. However, make sure that the joints are not offset. To achieve a more even distribution of colour, you should alternate between planks from different packages when laying the floor. Leave a distance of approx. 15 mm to the walls. Wood is a living natural product that expands with heat and high humidity. It contracts in cold and very low humidity. Although the three-layer structure of the planks partially compensates for these micro-movements, the parquet still needs some "air to move". The resulting gap is optically covered by the skirting boards. Before laying, the planks should be left in the room for 48 hours to allow them to acclimatise. | |
