The simple structured surface results from the processing with special brushes. This gives the Universal Oak planks a very rustic and natural look. With the retro structured surface, the planks look antique due to a corresponding, elaborate processing. The scraped surface of the plank 2V has been processed with a plane. At the top is the 2.5 mm thick wear layer made of oak. It has a permaDur seal made of BioTec oil, natural oil or wax. Underneath the wear layer is the middle layer. The third layer is the counter layer made of a softwood.How to install this parquetIf the parquet is to be laid on screed, over underfloor heating or over rooms such as laundry rooms or boiler rooms, a 0.2 mm thick PE foil is required as a vapor barrier. In any case, it is recommended to lay an impact sound insulation consisting of a 2 mm thick insulation carpet pad.
