The advantages of Egger Home laminateThis Egger Home laminate is an uncomplicated floor that radiates elegance. It can also be easily combined with a water-bearing underfloor heating system. The dirt-resistant floor is easy to clean and ideal for allergy sufferers. Its antistatic surface prevents electrical charging. Thanks to its light-fast surface, it can also be laid in sunny rooms without fading. It is durable and resistant to abrasion. You will therefore enjoy this laminate flooring for many years to come. The structure of the Egger Home laminateThe decor image sits beneath the hard-wearing, highly abrasion-resistant surface. This is placed on an HDF carrier board made of natural wood fibres with Quell-Stop+. Under this carrier board there is a backing board as deformation protection. This laminate thus consists of 90% natural wood fibres, which create a healthy, natural room climate. The laminate has received many awardsThe PEFC seal guarantees that the wood used for this laminate comes from sustainable forestry. The Blue Angel certifies that the laminate is harmless to the environment. Three international seals certify that the product has a very low emission of critical substances. For example, the CARB2 seal indicates that the formaldehyde emission of the laminate is below the limit for harmful substances. To prepare for the installation of your new laminate floorFirst of all, you measure the room(s) exactly. Then add 5 % to 10 % as a blend. Now you know how much laminate you need. Then you calculate the amount of skirting boards you need. To do this, use the approximate formula 1 m² floor area requires 1 running metre of skirting. Next, you choose a suitable laminate floor. Now consider whether you need footfall sound insulation and/or a moisture barrier. You will always need impact sound insulation if a floor covering is laid in a floating manner. You will need the moisture barrier if you are laying the flooring on a mineral subfloor and in combination with a water-bearing underfloor heating system.
